On 25 November 2016, Metronet held its first business meeting on the topic of computer security. This event drew the attention of the Croatian IT industry, and gathered some 200 representatives of Croatian companies, and government bodies. At the meeting, Metronet announced it would be taking great steps forward in offering IT system security services. A wide range of services in this segment was presented, and it was announced that Metronet recently became an Intel security (McAfee) Tier 1 partner.

A series of excellent lectures were held by eminent Croatian experts in the field of security and computer security, including Dr. Robert Kopal of Algebra College and Dr. Tonimir Kišasondi of the Faculty of Organisation and Information Science. They spoke on general issues concerning security and gave a series of examples of threats and defences of business IT systems.

Members of the Metronet Management Board, Sanjin Katinić and Zdenko Vrdoljak presented a series of services and IT system security solutions developed by Metronet under the platform m|Security. They also stressed that the Metronet Security Operation Centre operates 24/7 and provides high quality service in computer security.

In this segment, Metronet aims to provides its users the best service on the Croatian market, and therefore, we have invested significant resources into this part of our operations.
