On 9 September, the CCBN teamed up with AmCham, the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia, to host a speed networking event. Each chamber was represented by 12 of its member companies, for a total of 24 companies, and each had the opportunity to briefly meet and present their business. Following the round of introductions, all the participants had the opportunity to continue networking freely and enjoy a buffet breakfast prepared by the Dubrovnik Hotel.

The reactions of participants were all very positive, and most stressed that they met valuable new contacts from the other chamber. CCBN member Marica Jakopović of Greenhill Marketing commented, “The networking breakfast was very well organized and executed, and I was delighted to have taken part in such a professional event. I own a small, specialized marketing agency and met two new clients that day, as well as having met several new and interesting people each of whom offered services I may need at some point in the future. The event also gave me the opportunity to pitch my marketing platform to key players in the hospitality sector, opening up potential new business opportunities in the future. Seems the benefits will continue well beyond the event itself.”

Given the positive response, we plan to conduct similar events in 2017.
